22 weeks and counting...

I will actually officially be 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow...but I have 22 week pics so we can go from there.  My pregnancy has still been going really well. With a lot of other stories I have heard, it makes me count my blessings for that. I have heard that the third trimester can get pretty dodgy, so please pray that it continues to be this great! Baby Morgan (or Harper as I call her...Kevin has yet to let me set it in stone) has really been letting her presence be known the last week! I started feeling the little "bubbles" or "flicking" feelings around 21 weeks, but they were so faint that I wasn't very sure at all if it was her or just my digestion. But, I can tell you the last week there is no doubt that it is my little hyper- active daughter in there! It is such a cool feeling and making the whole pregnancy thing seem even more real...not to mention the ever expanding belly! I am really not able to make it staying up past 11pm now, and they lack of energy thing is starting to set in a bit more. I am hoping with the resurgance of cool weather for fall (eventually) that that will help matters, and getting my walks at Memorial Park back on track again.

I recieved my first baby shower invitation (how cute is that?!) am already looking forward to seeing all the ladies I love the most in my life and family that will be coming in as far away from Georgia & Amarillo! Yay!  I think that will actually be the next time that I am going out of town, which is amazing! I am so looking forward to spending some time at home working on house, nursery and my latest pinterest DIY projects. Wow, am I nesting or what?

Stacie's & Scott's Wedding Weekend in Rosemary Beach, Florida

What an amazing long weekend we just had. My best friend, now Mrs. Stacie Lalendorff got married in Rosemary Beach, Florida. All of the fun filled activities started on Wednesday and we all got home Sunday. Rosemary Beach is just 15 minutes from the ECP airport/ Panama City Beach and it is unreal! I grew up going to PCB every year for family reunions...so I could not believe that such a fairy tale city was so close. I really did not want to leave and I already cannot wait to go back there with Harper very soon!

Kevin, Sabina, Amye, Melanie and myself all arrived Wednesday evening to meet up at Stacie & Scott's party house they had rented for the weekend, visit and have some pre- festivity cocktails. We checked into our rental house, the Nageotte Cottage and it was just amazing!

Our rental- Nageotte Cottage
Thursday, the rest of our rental house crew came in- Lindsay, Anna, Derrick and Sergio. Even though it was overcast, it never rained and we all went exploring walk around the city and neighborhoods, got some great food and of course shopping and visited the beach. Thursday night we all went to Red Bar for a great dinner.

Friday was an amazing beachside day followed by rehearsal on the beach for their big day and an amazing rehearsal and dinner at Bud & Alley's in Seaside. The Lalendorff's really blew it out of the water. About 100 people were there and there was excellent food, booze (not that I could partake :) ) and lots of toasting and roasting going on to the happy couple. I gave my toast which I was really oddly nervous about...probably due to the lack of buzz and liquid courage. It all went well and it was so amazing to see all of the love that people had for Stacie and Scott. That was really cool to see and there couldn't be two better people that deserve that.

Double Rainbows @ the Rehearsal
Saturday was another GORGEOUS beach day and then all of us bridal party were off to primp and prep for Stacie's big day! We got a lot of great visiting in and of course Stacie looked gorgeous! The wedding and the reception went off with out a hitch and had a million amazing little touches that made it so special, beautiful and such a blast. There was even an actual "rosemary" throw send off as they exited and  s'mores bonfire at the end of the night! How cute it that?!

Needless to say, this sober preggo chick is exhausted and it will probablty take me a week to recover...but it was all worth it! One of the best weddings and vacations ever!

Gorgeous outdoor ceremony right off the Rosemary town square

And...the night even ended with a "trash the dress" ocean swim...it was hilarious. I don't think I have laughed that hard with my girlfriends in a really long time!

Another cool thing about their wedding date, was that 2 years ago today, I became Mrs. Kevin Morgan in Driftwood, Texas. Kevin and I were able to revisit our wedding as the events unfolded with Stacie & Scott's wedding. Happy two year anniversary honey...I can't believe it has already been that long. I love you!

Getting bigger by the day....

So, I have officially gained about 15 lbs. since Baby Morgan was concieved and I am 21 weeks. Even though I know I am doing what is healthy for our little girl...there is just NOTHING fun about seeing the scale go up every week. Quite the far cry from how I was living my life losing lbs on the scale before baby! But, I am still staying active although my running, total conditioning classes and painful boot camp classes have converted to "power walks" and baby yoga! I could definatly clean up my eating somewhat though. Oh well, I just need to relax and enjoy it! That will be at least until after Stacie's wedding next week....because I cannot grow out of my beautiful bridesmaids dress before then! :) On another note my mom is coming in town tonight to spend a couple filled baby shopping days. I look forward to showing her all the fun stuff that I have already picked out and getting her decorating advice on the rest of the nursury.

Here are some belly weeks since the start. I am really trying to get better about documenting this...but time flies!

Let the nursery decorating begin!

Crib & Dresser- Young America in cotton

Looking for knobs to change out to add some fun to this!

Her bedding...I am a sucker for anything turquoise...

Love the cute little owls that are so big right now...

Glider chair and ottoman, but in burlap fabric shown below

Paisley Accent Pillow and Changing pad cover

original room inspiration photo..love these horizontal stripes!

Our baby bedding fabrics by "New Arriva's" crib bedding shown with our paisley accent fabric to add a little more girly feel.
Since we found out we are having a baby girl, I thought I would really have to change my nursery inspiration. Turns out that the colors I am liking anyway are pretty gender neutral...so I am just working on adding some pops of more feminine touches. Stacie was awesome in coming with me to Doodles in the Village this last weekend and helping me make all of the fabric choices and final furniture decisions. We are all set to go and ordered, so it looks like it should all be in around the end of October. I want to add a really fun, girly bookcase that I can make into a little weekend project to add a pop of the coral that is in the paisley print...so I will let you know how that goes. I really fun rug will hopefully tie it all together, so I will keep my eyes peeled at my regular Mega Marshalls & TJ Maxx trips that I love so much! I hope it turns out great... and that our little girl will really like it :)

Baby M's 19 Week Ultrasound Appointment

It seemed like forever until this day finally came. We thought for sure that the ultrasound technician would just tell us what we already know...duh, it's a boy. But, as God always does have another plan for us it was a GIRL! We were so shocked as everyone said we were going to have a boy with how easy my first trimester was, and we also took the over- the -counter urine gender test. (don't waste your money)! It was such an amazing experience getting to see picture of our little peanut again and getting to see our first 3D ultrasound photo. How cool. So far, everything looks good to go. The ultrasound tech said that the doctor may have set my due date a week to early at January 26th, so we could actually have a February baby. Who knows! I see the OBGYN again next week so we will know more solid results from our 19 week ultrasound then.

We have a blog!

I kept reading everyones blogs and decided that it was about time that I started one for our growing little family and to keep memories of our ever busy life! As most of you know we are expecting a baby girl in the end of January. We are beyond thrilled although we were initially very shocked as we thought since very early on that she was FOR SURE a boy. I guess we were wrong! We are enjoyed all of the new experiences and looking forward to the unknown that is to come. Stay tuned...I am guessing there will be a good mix of lots of pics, and the always present chaos that is our life!
